The fortnightly INFJ writers club newsletter: Slogging the slog
Vol. 1, Issue 9 — In this issue: Slogging the slog ✤ 3 things that might change your life ✤ And more!
A note from Amber
(“Shopkeeper,” editor, writer, & wobbly guide behind Maison d’Evangeline)
Hey, there. 👋 So I’m digging the new schedule. I hope you are, too! As you’ll see in this issue, I still wish I could be more deliberate with my “overall” writing (the “big thing” I hope to someday write, whatever it is), but we’ll get into that. For now, I’ll take the little win of liking the new lineup!
Thanks for being part of the INFJ writers club!
I hope you enjoy this issue.
xo,
A.
INFJ Writer Problem № 6: Not slogging the slog
by Amber Krowiarz | 06 Jul 2024
It had been exactly one month since I'd logged into my Roam account and written anything with purpose.
Granted, I'd been writing every day, but not with the deliberateness I wanted.
My hope was to one day write something cohesive, to set out with a question and follow it all the way through to the end, methodically, whether I arrived at a solution or not (hopefully I would).
3 things that might change your life
(Discovered or remembered over the last fortnight)
by Amber Krowiarz | 06 Jul 2024
In the live-your-best-life and goals departments … I mentioned it in the first article, but I’ve really been enjoying Zig Ziglar’s Goals. If you’re struggling in that department, it might be worth a gander. Plus, it’s a quick and easy read.
Also in the live-your-best-life department … I’m not all the way through it, but already know I’m going to re-listen. It’s an old interview, but evergreen: Phil Stutz on Armchair Expert.
And one last thing in the live-your-best-life department … Speaking of Phil Stutz, his book The Tools: 5 Tools to Help You Find Courage, Creativity, and Willpower—and Inspire You to Live Life in Forward Motion is great, too.
In case you missed it …
