This is part of the “Writing pal profile” series.
Welcome to our newest INFJ writers club member, Lindsay!
Here’s her letter to you, with an introduction to her writing home here on Substack, La Montée.
La Montée is a garden.
Not the kind you show off.
The kind behind a locked gate. Overgrown. A little wild. Kept for no one but you.
I write for the people who’ve felt too much and said too little. Who’ve been the villain in someone else’s story, and the ghost in their own.
This is about becoming and unbecoming. It’s about burning the blueprint. Climbing anyway.
Naming what was never named.
I don’t want feedback that sounds like a workshop. I want a writing pal who gets it in their bones.
You don’t need to be polished. You don’t need to be nice. You just need to know how to stay with the hard thing.
If you’re carrying something you can’t say out loud yet—start here.
I probably already said it for you.
Thank you, Lindsay, for introducing your work here!

P.S. Fellow writers and members, I’d love it if you’d submit your own “Writing pal profile” to share with the rest of the INFJ writers club! Submit it here (in DOC or PDF form), if you have a Google account (or email me at submissions [at] maisondevangeline [dot] com if not, and we’ll figure out a different method for submission). Feel free to copy my format, if it helps, or get creative and make something entirely new—up to you!
